So, do we have enough to do in black water if we schedule a club ride up there? Did you guys find the dirt pit out there? Its about 10 acres and has a large sandy hill off in the back. Could spend an hour there just playing around.

The sand pit is off three notch rd, donot get caught in the pit, they will give tickets and might take your jeep, this what we were told few years ago from locals.

i going to say yes, from what ive seen theres alittle bit of every thing for eveyone, from the artickelasion spots to the mudd stuff, i think it will be enjoyable for everyone,....we havent found no pit yet, but what muddylife said im not going to search for it......im a die-hard offroader but my vote for this months club ride is for the tube-ride, thats just my vote......

I have heard that about the pit as well. But never got caught there. It looked like it had be used a lot, so i a**umed it was ok to ride around there, but I am sure all the same rules apply as Eglin.

I wasnt refering to the club thing on the 22nd. I'm up for some tubing, havent been i a while. We do need to mix up the rides though. Did you map out where you have gone or is it all going on memory right now?

The pit that has the sand hill in the back is made up of tiny gravel. It gets in your brakes, calipers, axle tubes, and starter if you bury down in the right spots. I went there one time had some fun but after a while there I started hearing things from my drive train and brakes. I had four wheel disk brakes at the time also. Drum brakes would really load up in my opinion. Mark
