My 93 2.5 idled at about 1200rpm and I had checked everything! No bad sensors or vaccume leaks, I was stumped. I had taken off the hose drone the throttle body to the air box and noticed my plate didn't shut completely, there was a tiny tiny gap just big enough to notice. Well, I used something to hol the gas pedal down and standing on the driver side looking at the tb there's a stop screw that stops the tb lever. I filed that down cranking it up often to check and looking at the throttle plate and after getting it to seal good and tight it now idles at a cool 800 rpm and didn't cost a penny.

"Yes, I'll just step inside this police box and arrest myself."

"If it Ain't broke, fix it until it is broke."
